almost done here

So tonight we went out with some friends from work..after packing all day long.. i can not believe that we have been here for 4 months...it went by so quickly...and now we are almost headed home.
although we have to work on Thanksgiving, so i think our dinner will consist of coffee and a bag a of pretzels...we don't want to stop -i can't wait to get home!!!
well everyone...we will see you in less than one week, and then get ready to buy tickets to Arizona!!!!

tonight we're gonna be the party...

So tonight tony and i met renee and friend of hers from michigan...we went to dinner at g'vanni's ( our favorite place to get dinner and a bottle of merlot for a mere $20) afterwards we headed to the charles playhouse for the blue man group....it was amazing!!!! i am ssooooo glad that i saw it here for the first time...i know that it was in michigan a few years ago, and i really wanted to go, but i am happy that i waited to see it...the theater is smaller than wayne state's bonstelle theater...we had great seats, but all the seats were great...the show was nonstop visual and musical stimulation... they are perfermance art/music and it was something that i could see some of my old friends doing in high school or early college years...well worth every penny...
then we went to this crappy club called roxie...it was ok, but there were more steps to get into this place then to get a greencard...we had to wait in line until they opened at 10:30...WHAT BAR OPENS AT 10:30 ON A FRIDAY NIGHT!!!..then we had to show id to one guy at the door, next we had to show them the stamp on our hands and get a bracelet that showed that we were over 21, then it was 15 bucks to get in...luckily a friend of ours from work was there and had extra tickets to get in..so we all pitched in and paid for tony ( we only had three free tickets.) then we had to turn the tickets into another ticket...give them to the guy at the door and then get searched... seriously...a lot of work to dance at a place that was playing music that i used to go to canada when i was 19 to hear...friggin blackstreet and shit!!1 oh well
aftewards we went to mj o'connors because we all wanted some post-drink food, but since they closed the kitchen at 12, we went to parish's to eat..nice food, but no fried or breakfast food. IS THERE NO DENNY'S IN BOSTON!!! DON'T PEOPLE NEED TO EAT WHEN THEY ARE HAMMERED????
anyway after that tony and i took a cab to our car ( because we missed the last train) and the flippin cab was like 32 dollars!!! we totally got raped for a ride home....
but it was all well worth it, we had fun and listened to dar williams on the way home...

at least i don't feel old for reading a book on my day off ( although i like that too :L)

dinner and a good book

For the first time, ever i think...Tony made me dinner last night and i didn't have to help AT ALL!!! not to mention...it was great...ususally we cook together, or i cook...but i didn't feel like it last night...it consisted of veggie meatloaf, homemade mashed potatoes -no instant, and green beans!!! we did have some chocolate for dessert because either of us felt like making that!!!

We are headed out to the city to meet our friends for dinner and the blue man group...more to follow.

I had to take tony's stiches out today... i am bad nurse when it comes to the people i love...i really almost barfed -no one get hurt ok :)

Three weeks to go...

So i just realized that in three weeks, i will be headed home ( for one short week.)
so tony and i are trying to do everything that we haven't done yet..or at least enjoy more of the city before we leave...today we hung out in cambridge and the strangest thing happened...i had to pee ( which is not at all strange) but i stopped in a coffee shop and this chick was wearing a shirt that i have, so i said to her "hey i have that shirt" and then as soon as i said it i realized that i didn't anymore so i said "nevermind, i sold it on ebay" to which she replied, "HEY!!! i bought this shirt on ebay." SHE WAS WEARING MY SHIRT!@!!@@!!@@ can you believe that...
well tony and i were going to go to the cape AGAIN to get his wedding ring, but we found a better looking one on-line, so we are going to see if we can get it at a store at home...it is really cool...
this week i had a girl date... i don't have any girlfriends here, so i was really excited to meet a girl from michigan who wanted to hang out ( she works with us). we went shopping and then tony met us for dinner...afterwards we went to the WORST psychic in the world...not only was everything she told me WRONG ( i have bad karma surrouning me-now that's not even possible- i have to be careful of two friends that are jealous of me, and she proceded to describe people that i don't even know, i cry myself to sleep, i am not eating right or sleeping right) all wrong, anyway the best part is that she told my friend THE EXACT SAME THING!!! right down to what the people looked like that she should be careful of...what a waste...now i owe tony $30 because he paid for it...
oh well... we have to work tomorrow at 7pm because of the stupid Patriots game.
then we are off for a few days...as far as i know, we are going to see the blue man group on friday, my, tony, and my new friend ( i feel like i am kindergarten) and one of her MI friends.
